Adv. Khandakar Masiur Rahman Appointed as New ACC Public Prosecutor in Dhaka

Advocate Khandakar Masiur Rahman has been officially appointed as the Public Prosecutor (PP) for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in Dhaka. His appointment was recently approved by the commission.
A graduate of the 13th batch of the Law Department at the University of Chittagong, Rahman distinguished himself early on through his intellect, dedication, and leadership, earning a respected place in the legal profession.
Before entering the legal field, he studied at Notre Dame College in Dhaka, where he was actively involved in music, poetry, writing, and journalism. Under his editorial leadership, two widely-read publications were established.
During the previous administration, he provided free legal assistance to victims of false political cases and those who were helpless and persecuted.
His appointment as Public Prosecutor marks a new chapter in his professional journey. He is also a well-established lawyer at the Bangladesh Supreme Court.
In his remarks, Advocate Rahman stated: “In the new Bangladesh born of a blood-soaked revolution, there can be no place for inequality or corruption. The state must uphold zero tolerance against corruption. From the prosecution’s side, there will be no leniency for the corrupt—Insha’Allah.”
