Chief Adviser Dr Yunus arrives in Cairo
The chief adviser of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus went to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on a two-day visit to attend the D-8 conference.

Top leaders of eight developing countries including Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Nigeria, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey are gathering in this summit of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation organized by Egypt.
The D-8 group began its journey with the aim of increasing development cooperation among member countries through the Istanbul Declaration on June 15, 1997. Its primary goals were to strengthen the position of member states in the world economy, create new trade opportunities, increase participation in international decision-making processes and improve the standard of living of member states.
