What Donald Trump will do after taking power

US President-elect Donald Trump has said his first task after taking office in January will be to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

Trump gave this speech at the ‘America First Policy Institute’ event in Florida on Friday (November 15). This was his first long public speech after the election.

Trump repeatedly said that he would immediately stop the war after taking office. However, he did not elaborate on how to do it.

He then told his supporters that his other priorities would be the Middle East and ‘cleaning up a corrupt, fragile, failed administration’. However, he left the stage without giving details about these plans. The event was held at Donald Trump’s (candidate-elect) residence.

The ‘America First Policy Institute’ is Donald Trump’s own organization. Because that organization was established by the hands of Trump administration officials in 2021. The institute has produced several conservative policy proposals for the second Trump administration.

Donald Trump said to the crowd present at the event, “No one knew that we would win like this.” It was a great victory. He thanked many people in the crowd. Among them are Argentine President Javier Millei and House Speaker Mike Johnson.

However, Donald Trump has repeatedly mentioned Tesla owner Elon Musk. Elon Musk was with Donald Trump at his residence recently.

Donald Trump jokingly told Elon Musk that he likes this place. I can’t kick him out. I am glad to have him here too.

Donald Trump also thanked some other high-profile supporters. For example, former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and US politician Tulsi Gabbard. Both of them have been appointed in senior positions. Also, during a speech in Florida, Trump announced that he has nominated Doug Bergum as Home Secretary.

The department, which is responsible for the management and conservation of natural resources and federal lands, will be headed by one-time presidential candidate Doug Bergum.

Most cabinet positions, including this position, require Senate approval. Donald Trump said it would be officially announced on Friday.

Trump is enjoying this period after being elected president. He made it clear that he has been waiting a long time to return to the White House.

When will Trump take power?
