In Golam Mamun’s trailer, the police officer himself is the criminal

Ahmed Azam: In the web series “Buker Moddhye Agun,” Apurba received praise for portraying police officer Golam Mamun. He is returning to the same character in the spinoff series “Golam Mamun,” directed by Shihab Shaheen. The story reveals that the police officer Golam Mamun, who once brought criminals to justice, is now a criminal himself. Despite claiming his innocence, no one believes him. Mamun is on the run, breaking the law to prove his innocence.

The series trailer was released today, Sunday, at an event the cast and crew attended. Apurba said, “Golam Mamun is a very different character from the ones I usually portray. You will only get a glimpse of my character in the trailer.”

In the series, Sabila Noor will be seen alongside Apurba, portraying the character of Rahi, a police officer. Sabila says, “I had to work very hard for the role of Rahi. There are some action scenes here that I have never done before. Viewers will be able to sense that when they watch the series.”

The “Golam Mamun” series also stars Imtiaz Barshon, Fakhrul Basher Masum, Sharlin Farzana, Sharif Siraj, Rashed Mamun, Sushama Sarkar, and others. This eight-episode series will be released on the OTT platform Hoichoi on June 13.
