Today is Dighi’s ‘Wedding’. Everyone can ‘attend’.

Ahmed Azam: Today, the year’s biggest wedding event is set to take place in theaters. It’s the wedding of the much-talked-about actress Dighi! All preparations are complete. The saying is, “A wedding can’t happen without a thousand talks.” Even though it’s a wedding on screen, it’s no different for Dighi. When will Dighi appear as a bride on the big screen? Various speculations are ongoing.

On November 8th, actress Dighi’s wedding will be shown on big screens across the country in the movie 36–24–36. The movie explores various aspects of relationships and emotions. It is the fifth film under Chorki’s “Ministry of Love” project.

The romantic comedy film “36–24–36” revolves around the various incidents surrounding the wedding of groom Tahsir (Sayed Zaman Shawon) and bride Priyanti (Prarthana Fardin Dighi). Dighi mentioned that this movie is not like her previous works. “All I can say is, this movie is full of entertainment. The audience will thoroughly enjoy it. Once they start watching, they’ll feel compelled to finish it. It’s made with a grand arrangement. Everyone is invited to the theaters.”

Another main character in the movie is played by Karina Kaiser. Her character, Saira, is an intelligent and successful wedding planner. This movie marks Karina Kaiser’s debut on the big screen. “I tried to work outside the traditional storyline. I am hopeful that everyone will like it. Like many others, I am also waiting to hear the positive feedback,” said Karina.

Written by Rezaur Rahman, Karina Kaiser, and Montasir Mannan, and directed by Rezaur Rahman, the film also stars Golam Kibria Tanvir, Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Mili Bashar, Manas Bandyopadhyay, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Rosey Siddiqui, Monira Mithu, Shamima Nazneen, and others.

With great grandeur, the premiere show was held yesterday evening, Thursday, November 7th, at the Star Cineplex of SKS Tower in the capital. The team behind the show was present.

The event was attended by actors, filmmakers, and crew members. Chorki’s CEO Redoan Rony welcomed everyone and said, “Chorki thinks about all viewers and wants to move forward with everyone. Therefore, we aimed to release the movie not only on the platform but also in theaters. More movies will be released from Chorki in the future.”

Artists shared their feelings as well. The premiere was attended by filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Shahnaz Khushi, Sushama Sarker, Toya, Actor Fs Nayeem, Soumya, Dibya, and many others.

“36–24–36” is the fifth movie under the Ministry of Love project. Previously, under this project, “Something Like an Autobiography,” “Monogamy,” “Kacher Manush Dure Thuya,” and “Forget Me Not” were produced. The executive production of the movie was done by Chabial.
