Ferdousi Tanvir Ichchha has been crowned Miss Bangladesh 2024

Ahmed Azam: Ferdousi Tanvir Ichchha, a student of BRAC University from Barishal, has been crowned the winner of the Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024. The grand finale of the event was held on October 4 at the ballroom of Le Méridien in the capital, where the coveted crown was placed on Iccha’s head.

Along with this title, she also earned the crown of Miss Bangladesh Earth. Kazi Tarana was announced as the first runner-up, and Mahbuba Rahman Labonno as the second runner-up.

The top 10 winners from this competition will go on to represent Bangladesh at various international beauty pageants. This year, on November 9, Ferdousi Tanvir Iccha will participate in the 24th Miss Earth pageant in the Philippines. First runner-up Kazi Tarana will compete in Miss Global in Cambodia, and second runner-up Mahbuba Rahman Labonno will participate in the Royal International Miss competition in the United States.

The remaining seven finalists will represent Bangladesh in the following global pageants: Miss Heritage International (Thailand), Miss Asia, Miss Asia Global, Miss Glam World (India), Miss Interglobal (Philippines), Miss Culture Global (South Africa), and Miss Freedom of the World (Kosovo and Albania).

The event was organized in collaboration with the Miss Bangladesh Organization and the Miss Bangladesh Foundation. Meghna Alam, Chairperson of the Miss Bangladesh Foundation, stated, “The competition may have ended, but our mission has just begun. We are committed to rebranding and rebuilding Bangladesh. These women will serve as ambassadors of change across countries, highlighting the importance of environmental protection and social responsibility on global platforms.”

The grand finale’s judging panel included Julia Weizmann, Sharmin Rahman Roma, Manam Ahmed, Nazim Farhan Choudhury, Ferdous Bappy, and Meghna Alam.
