Journalist Mohammad Masud received the TRAB Award

The Editor and Publisher of the daily Sobuj Bangladesh newspaper Mohammad Masud, was honored with the TRAB Award 2025 by the Television Reporters Unity of Bangladesh (TRAB) for his significant contribution to journalism.

The award was presented to him during a colorful ceremony on Saturday (February 8) at the Padma Seminar Hall of the five-star Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in the capital.

This year, several distinguished individuals were honored for their special contributions in various categories, including journalism, music, cinema, drama, OTT, fashion, and business.

Mohammad Masud received this award for his active role in publishing objective news during his three-decade-long journalism career.

Mohammad Masud expressed his feelings about receiving the award, saying, ‘Receiving such a prestigious award is undoubtedly a matter of pride. Thanks to the TRAB committee for giving me this honor.’

Prominent guests at the award ceremony included: Poet and journalist Hasan Hafiz, President of the National Press Club, journalist leader Irfanul Haque Nahid, TRAB President Kader Monsur, General Secretary of Reporters Unity Mainul Hasan Sohel, and BACHSAS President Kamrul Hasan Darpon.
